Q. How many maids will clean my home?
A We send out one maid per home. If the home is large and requires extra attention we will send out 2 to 3 maids depending on your cleaning needs.
Q: Are you insured?
A. Yes we are fully insured and all maids are bonded.
Q: Do I have to be home when you clean?
A. Most of our clients are either at work or taking care of other things. So, it is not
necessary for you to be home. We have access to homes of customers who are not
home, they leave a key in our care and we also have access to all necessary codes
needed to access the home. All keys and codes are kept confidential.
Q: Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
A. Yes, we provide all cleaning supplies.
Q: What areas in Louisiana do you service?
A. We service St. Tammany Parish. Orleans Parish, Lacombe, Mississippi, Jefferson Parish
Q: Do you guarantee your service?
A.All work is guaranteed. If not satisfied call within 24 hours and it's only fair that the
areas in question are re-cleaned.
Q. Do you have weekly, bi-weekly and monthly cleaning?
A. Yes, we offer weekly, bi-weekly, monthly and every 3 weeks.
Q. What is the availability of your services?
A. Our regular working hours are 8:00AM to 4:00PM Monday through Friday. 9:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m. Sunday. Our hours are flexible.
Q. Do I have to sign a contract for service?
A. No contract is necessary to sign.
Q.What don't you do?
A. Our employees can not climb higher than a step stool, work outside the home, move furniture, lift any objects over 20 pounds or clean up pet or feces or urine.
Q. What forms of payment do you accept?
A. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Discover, American Express, Master Card) cash and checks.
Q. Is my key safe with you?
A. All keys are marked for identification with a code (no address or customer name is used) and locked in a safe when not issued to the maid for the day of your cleaning. Only the maid that is cleaning your home and necessary staff have access to the key safe.
Q. How do I pay for services?
A. You can pay for your services after they are completed by cash check or credit card, If you are paying by credit card then you have to call the office and give your credit card information to a Maid Xpress representative. You can pay by phone with a check also Checks and cash are to be given to the maid after services are completed or if you will not be there when services are completed we ask that you leave check or cash on kitchen counter top. You can also pay online either before services are rendered or after by going to our online payment page. Or you can pre-pay for your monthly, weekly or bi-weekly services. You can get a 10% - 20% discount by having a pre-pay account.
Q. Is my credit card information safe and secure?
A. Yes your credit card information is processed on our secure server after services are completed and your credit card information is not stored. The only time your credit card information is stored is when you are set up on a pre-pay account, and all your information is kept in a secured computer database.
Q. What is "Easy Pay"?
A. "Easy Pay" is when the customer have chosen to have weekly, bi-weekly or monthly services and you pay with a debit card, credit card or check draft at the beginning of the month that the services are rendered . Many of our customers have chosen pre-pay as a convenience. Also, pre-pay customers receive additional discounts of 10% - 25% off.
Q. What if I want extra services done?
A. Your maid is responsible for cleaning 1 to 2 homes each working day. While they will be happy to accommodate special requests you may have from time to time (such as cleaning the oven, inside the refrigerator, and washing windows, for example), it will be easier for them to accommodate your wishes if you provide them with advance notice.
Rather than leaving a note asking them to do an extra assignment today, call the office in advance or leave a note asking them to do the task on their next regular cleaning visit. In this way, your team can plan their daily cleaning schedule ahead of time. As you can appreciate, if two or three clients surprised them with extra duties on their scheduled day, they may have to skip someone else’s regular visit if they tried to fit in that extra work.
Keep in mind that you will normally be expected to pay a little extra for work that is not normally included. That is only fair, after all.
